Que sabor tem um Beijo? Para ele? Para ela? Tem o gosto de encontro, encontro assim meio de lado, a cabeça de Manoela deitada de lado para receber o Beijo de Pedro. Era feito um aconchego, aquela cabeça deitada, no ombro de seu amado. O Beijo, assim torto parecia. Mas não era torto, era místico e ali se fazia um santuário.
Naquele instante celestial, um Raio de Sol tocou a Cabeça de Manoela. A Cabeça da menina permanecendo deitada, pendendo assim para o lado, era mais fácil o Raio de Sol a tocar e se inserir no pensamento. Houve então uma Epifania. Todos os momentos vividos, o antes, o agora, o depois explodiram em Manoela, como se fossem um instante só. E a menina-mulher podia no corpo de Pedro entrar, no corpo do homem-menino penetrar, feito o ar em seus pulmões.
