Sobre mim

PATRICIA GONÇALVES TENÓRIO (Recife, 1969) tem trinta livros publicados, entre eles Samanta, Breves estórias do tempo, Prosa reunida, Poesia reunida e Os livros (coleção Trinta Livros, 2023). Recebeu prêmios no Brasil e no exterior por As joaninhas não mentem (Accademia Internazionale Il Convivio, 2008), Grãos (UBE/RJ, 2008), Como se Ícaro falasse (Academia Pernambucana de Letras, 2012), A menina do olho verde (Accademia Internazionale Il Convivio, 2017), pelo conjunto da obra (UBE/ RJ, 2013) e pelo Projeto Literário On-line Estudos em Escrita Criativa (Câmara Brasileira de Desenvolvimento Cultural/Flipo, 2022).

Graduada em Ciências da Computação (Unicap), mestre em Teoria da Literatura (UFPE), doutora em Escrita Criativa (PUCRS), ministrou, de 2016 a 2021, cursos on-line e presenciais do grupo de Estudos em Escrita Criativa, e uma das idealizadoras, coordenadoras e professoras da primeira turma de especialização lato sensu em Escrita Criativa (Unicap/PUCRS). Organizadora da trilogia Sobre a escrita criativa (2017, 2018, 2020) e dos Estudos em Escrita Criativa (2021).

    Ministra, de fevereiro a junho, na Universidade Católica de Pernambuco (Unicap), o curso de extensão Estudos em Escrita Criativa sobre a temática da viagem na literatura universal (Língua Inglesa, Portugal, Brasil, Leste Europeu, Ásia), seguindo o modelo de 2018 (teoria, exercícios de desbloqueio e convidados do Recife e de Porto Alegre). O curso foi cartão de visitas para a primeira turma de especialização em Escrita Criativa Unicap/PUCRS (2019.2), do qual foi idealizadora, coordenadora e professora da disciplina Empreendedorismo Literário

    Lança o curso on-line Os mundos de dentro, sobre as casas e a obra de doze escritores brasileiros (Osman Lins, Manuel Bandeira, Ferreira Gullar, Graciliano Ramos, Vinicius de Moraes, Jorge Amado, Cora Coralina, Hilda Hilst, Mário de Andrade, Carlos Drummond de Andrade, João Guimarães Rosa e Mario Quintana). Viaja para 8 das 12 casas em dezembro, e, na ocasião, em Porto Alegre, lança, de maneira on-line, Rio a quatro mãos, novela policial escrita em parceria com Adriano Portela, e Estudos em Escrita Criativa, artigos e depoimentos dos escritores participantes do curso de mesmo nome desde 2018.

    Lança, em março, em um dos primeiros encontros presenciais após o isolamento social, no Teatro Hermilo Borba Filho, no Recife (PE), Rio a quatro mãos e Estudos em Escrita Criativa. Na ocasião, é feita uma leitura dramática de Rio a quatro mãos pela companhia de teatro Cobogó das Artes, dirigida por Adriano Portela.

    Recebe, em maio, a homenagem “Mulheres que orgulham Pernambuco” da Assembleia Legislativa de Pernambuco (ALEPE).

    Lança, em agosto, o Espetáculo A menina do olho verde, no Teatro Hermilo Borba Filho, no Recife (PE), com direção de Adriano Portela, e elenco formado por Adriano Portela, Cláudia Sábrel, Laerte Augusto, Madu Melo, Matheus Stamford e Polyana Luna. Lança o livro de mesmo nome, assim como Sonhos artificiais, sonhos-contos inspirados nos atores e nas atrizes do Espetáculo.

    Lança, em outubro, Preta, uma novela-fotográfico-musical, sobre a cachorrinha labrador da família.

    Apresenta, em novembro, durante o Festiva, no Teatro da Famecos da PUCRS, em Porto Alegre, o Espetáculo A menina do olho verde. Na mesma ocasião, também lança os livros Espetáculo e Sonhos artificiais e os vídeos de leitura dramatizada de alguns contos de Sonhos.

    Lança, em outubro, na 14a Bienal Internacional do Livro de Pernambuco e na 75a Frankfurter Buchmesse, sua Coleção Trinta Livros – uma novela ilustrada com recursos de Inteligência Artificial (Samanta), uma seleção de dez contos de visita a casas de escritores ao redor do mundo (Breves estórias do tempo), uma seleção de poemas escritos entre novembro, 2020 e novembro, 2022 (Poesia reunida), vinte e duas resenhas publicadas no blog em 2022 (Os livros), a seleção de uma crônica, novellas e contos nunca antes publicados (Prosa reunida) – e Estudos em Escrita Criativa no Brasil, 26 artigos de pesquisadores na área do país, todos os livros em edição bilígue (português/inglês), traduzidos por João Augusto Lira.

About me

Patricia Gonçalves Tenório (Recife, 1969) is a Brazilian writer. She has published thirty books, which we have among them Samantha, Brief stories of time, Selected Prose, Selected Poetry and The books (Thirthy Books Collection, October 2023). Patricia Tenório received awards in Brazil as well as abroad for O major – eterno é o espírito [‘The major – eternal is the spirit’] (2005), As joaninhas não mentem [‘Ladybugs do not lie’] (2006), Grãos [‘Grains’] (2007), Como se Ícaro falasse [‘As if Icarus spoke’] (2012), and A menina do olho verde [‘The green eyed girl’] (2016). She received in 2013 the award for her complete writings so far. She received in 2022 the “Best of 2022 Award” of the Brazilian Chamber of Cultural Development within the scope of FLIPO for her Online Project of Studies on Creative Writing.

She has graduation in Computer Science (UNICAP), master’s degree in Theory of Literature (UFPE) and PhD in Creative Writing (PUCRS). She gave on-line and in-person classes in the course of Studies on Creative Writing from 2016 to 2021. She was one of the creators of the specialization course of Creative Writing at Unicap/PUCRS and the publishing organizer of the trilogy Sobre a escrita criativa [‘About Creative Writing’] (2017, 2018, 2020), Estudos em Escrita Criativa [‘Studies on Creative Writing’] (2021) and Estudos em Escrita Criativa no Brasil [‘Studies on Creative Writing in Brazil’] (October 2023).

    She sets up in Recife (PE) the Domenico Bookstore, specialized in arts, with workshops, Café and bistro. She closes the book store in 2004.

  • 2005

    She launches the fictionalized biography O major - eterno é o espírito ["The major - eternal is the spirit"] in Maceió (AL) and Boca da Mata (AL) with honorable mention in fiction in the City of Recife Literary Awards in the same year.

  • 2006

    She launches As joaninhas não mentem [“Ladybugs do not lie”], an adult fable, in Recife (PE) and in Paris (France).

  • 2007

    She launches the book Grãos [“Grains”] with short-stories, chronicles and poems.

    She joined as a partner for 4 years in the Calibán Publishing House in Rio de Janeiro.

  • 2008

    She wins the Dicéa Ferraz Award (UBE/RJ) in Poetry and Short-Story for Grãos [“Grains”] as well as the Miglior Romanzo Straniero (Italy, Accademia Internazionale Il Convivio) for As joaninhas não mentem [“Ladybugs do not lie”].

  • 2009

    She launches the book A mulher pela metade [ “The woman by half”], a novella with poems and theoretical essay, in Recife (PE).

  • 2010

    She launches, in Recife (PE), the book Diálogos ["Dialogues"] with 3 short stories adapted into short cut films (DVD) and D'Agostinho ["D'Augustine"] with recited poems (CD).

  • 2011

    She adapts and produces the theater show As joaninhas não mentem [“Ladybugs do not lie”] in Recife (PE).

  • 2012

    She launches, in Recife (PE), Como se Ícaro falasse [“As if Icarus spoke”], fiction inspired by myth; and she win the Vânia Souto Carvalho Award in Fiction from the Literature Academy of Pernambuco.

  • 2013

    She launches, in Paris (France) Sans nom/ Fără nume [“Nameless”] short stories, chronicles and poems in French and Romanian.

  • 2014

    She joins the master’s degree in Theory of Literature, research line Literature and Intersemiosis, at UFPE, under the guidance of Maria do Carmo Nino

  • 2015

    She defends, in September, the dissertation The portrait of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde: an indicial, Augustinian and prefigural novel.

  • 2016

    She attends as a listener student of the PhD classes in Creative Writing at PUCRS. She launches, in Recife (PE) and Porto Alegre (RS), A menina do olho verde [“The green-eyed girl”], adult fable.

    She launches, in Lisbon (Portugal) and in Madrid (Spain) Vinte e um / Veintiuno [“Twenty-one”], short stories in Portuguese and Spanish.

    In August, she starts the Group of Studies in Creative Writing with the writers and poets Bernadete Bruto and Elba Lins.

  • 2017

    He joined the PhD in Creative Writing at PUCRS, under the guidance of Luiz Antonio de Assis Brasil. He organizes, with colleagues, Prof. Assis Brasil and Rogério Robalinho, the 1st National Seminar in Creative Writing of Pernambuco, at the 11th Book Biennial. On the occasion, she launched On Creative Writing, with articles on the theme of the participants of the 1st Seminar.

    She wins the Premio Assoluto from the Accademia Internazionale Il Convivio, Italy, for A menina do olho verde [“The green-eyed girl”]

    She launches La bambina dagli Ochi Verdi in Milan (Italy).

  • 2018

    She defends, in October, the thesis Twelve hours: an individual myth in an autobiofiction.

    Minister, from March to November, at Cultura Bookstore in Recife (PE) and Porto Alegre (RS), the course Studies on Creative Writing, on 8 themes of universal literature (Time, Myth, Traveling, Music, Dream, Love, Image, Fire), with theory and unblocking for students from both cities. She launches, in the last meetings of November, On Creative Writing II.

  • 2019

    She minister, from February to June, at the Catholic University of Pernambuco (Unicap), the extension course Studies in Creative Writing on the theme of travel in universal literature (English Language, Portugal, Brazil, Eastern Europe, Asia), following the 2018 model (theory, unlocking exercises and students from Recife and Porto Alegre). The course was a visiting card for the first specialization class in Creative Writing Unicap/ PUCRS (2019.2), of which she was the creator, coordinator and teacher of the discipline Literary Entrepreneurship.

  • 2020

    She launches, in May, online, On Creative Writing III, with students and teachers of the first class of the specialization in Creative Writing Unicap/ PUCRS.

    She launches the course Studies in Creative Writing Online, result of the 5 modules of the extension course of Unicap, plus the modules on Russians, French and Italians.

    She launches, in December, online, the Quarantine Collection: Exílio ou Diário depois do fim do mundo [“Exile or Diary after the end of the world”] (non-fiction), Poemas de cárcere [“Prison Poems”] (poetry) and Setembro [“September”] (fiction).

  • 2021

    She launches the online course The worlds within, about the houses and the work of twelve Brazilian writers (Osman Lins, Manuel Bandeira, Ferreira Gullar, Graciliano Ramos, Vinicius de Moraes, Jorge Amado, Cora Coralina, Hilda Hilst, Mário de Andrade, Carlos Drummond de Andrade, João Guimarães Rosa and Mario Quintana). She travels to 8 of the 12 houses in December, and on the occasion, in Porto Alegre, she launches, online, Rio a quatro mãos [“River in four hands”], a crime novel written in partnership with Adriano Portela, and Studies on Creative Writing, articles and testimonials from the writers participating in the course of the same name since 2018.

    She launches, in on-line format, As filhas do adeus [“The daughters of farewell”], short stories about women who have profoundly marked their lives.

  • 2022

    She launches, in March, in one of the first face-to-face meetings after social isolation, in the Hermilo Borba Filho Theater, in Recife (PE), Rio a quatro mãos [“River in four hands”] and Studies on Creative Writing. On the occasion, a dramatic reading of Rio in four hands is made by the theater company Cobogó das Artes, directed by Adriano Portela.

    She wins in May, the tribute "Women who pride Pernambuco" of the Legislative Assembly of Pernambuco (ALEPE).

    She launches, in August, the theater show A menina do olho verde [“The gree-eyed girl”], at the Hermilo Borba Filho Theater, in Recife (PE), directed by Adriano Portela, and cast formed by Adriano Portela, Claudia Sábrel, Laerte Augusto, Madu Melo, Matheus Stamford and Polyana Luna. She launches the book Espetáculo A menina do olho verde [“The gree-eyed girl Spectacle”], as well as Sonhos artificiais ["Artificial dreams"], dreams-tales inspired by the actors and actresses of the show.

    In October, she launches Preta [“Black”], a photographic-musical novel about the puppy of her family.

    She presents, in November, during the Festiva, at the Theater of Famecos at PUCRS, in Porto Alegre, the theater show A menina do olho verde [“The gree-eyed girl”]. On the same occasion, she also launches the books Espetáculo A menina do olho verde [“The gree-eyed girl Spectacle”] and Sonhos Artificiais [“Artificial Dreams”] and the dramatized reading videos of some short stories from “Artificial Dreams”.

  • 2023

    She launches, in October, on the 14th International Book Biennial of Pernambuco and on the 75th Frankfurter Buchmesse, her Thirty Books Collection – a novella illustrated with Artificial Intelligence resources (Samantha), a selection of ten travel tales on the houses of writers around the world (Brief stories of time), a selection of poems written between November 2020 and November 2022 (Selected Poetry), twenty-two book reviews published in the blog in 2022 (The books), the selection of one chronicle, novellas and unpublished short stories (Selected Prose) – and Studies on Creative Writing in Brazil, 26 articles from researchers in the area in the country, all of the books in a bilingual edition (Portuguese/English), translated by João Augusto Lira.
